This is a client’s favourite dress that she had hanging in her wardrobe for some time needing to be fixed.  It’s beading had come away on the shoulder strap and a stain wouldn’t go away on the front.

It is one of those garments you are not sure what to do with.  It needs fixing but in a special way, so where do you go for this?  What can you do about the stain?  You can’t donate it because it does need fixing and it has a stain, but you don’t want to throw it out.  One for later…

Following her wardrobe audit, I offered to mend the shoulder strap with new beads and to cover the stain that was almost centre front with a beaded feature.

Very happy with the result.  An old favourite has become new again and ready to wear.
