Suited to Success is one of those charities doing such good work helping people overcome barriers to employment, that everyone needs to know they exist.   You never know you may need them one day.

But if you are comfortably employed and think you could offer value, volunteer your talents and make the world an easier place for those that face the challenge of feeling confident and finding work.

Not only do I volunteer my time at Suited to Success, I also donate many designer clothes, shoes, handbags and accessories from the many closets I help to declutter.  Most of these beautiful items help to dress Suited to Success clients who are preparing for a job interview.

However some are put aside for the annual fundraiser “Bubbles and Beauties”.  This year is bigger and better than ever.  Held at the Brisbane City Hall’s fabulous Ballroom, the designer items on sale have been curated under the banners of where you may wear them.  There will be a chic ‘Evening Wear Salon’, a stylish ‘Race Goers Collection for both men & women’, a perfect ‘Corporate Wear Store’ as well as a relaxed ‘What-to-wear-on-the-Weekend’ stand.  And that is just the shopping part of the event.

Bubbles & Beauties VIP ticket holders get early access, plus demonstrations and interviews with Fashion Weekly discussing the latest trends in race wear and myself, the closet minimalist guiding you to find the look you love wearing.

As a personal stylist, I help individuals find their own aesthetic, the kind of preferred vibe (I love the movie “The Castle”) of clothing you like to wear and I help guide you into choosing the right aesthetic for your body shape and your life style.  Most of my clients are already stylish but have found they are in a rut or transitioning into a different lifestyle and their current wardrobe needs adapting or updating to suit the person they have become.  I help them find the right look faster than they might on their own.

But wait there is more!  There will be more ‘stylistas’ there to offer ideas  – Hannah from Nevereverpayretail, Brooke from What Brooke Wore Blonde Ambition and Emily from Corporate Catwalker.

So much in one night and did I mention there will be bubbles, the kind you drink.  Come and have a great night shopping, learning about style and raise money for a wonderful cause.

Click here to buy your tickets.

Come and say hello and I will be on the shop floor for anyone wanting individual styling advice.  See you there.
